H&Y has launched a Kickstarter campaign for its innovative Revoring step ring adaptor and its Revoring with variable neutral density and polariser combined filter, and these revolutionary devices could change the way you work

The H&Y Revoring is available in three size options: 37-46mm, 46-62mm and 67-82mm which accept 52mm, 67mm and 82mm filters respectively. Each Revoring has a filter thread and a set of tough, spring loaded retractable blades and these grip the lens accessory thread from the inside. So you buy the Revoring to suit your majority of your screw-in filters and you can use them on your lenses of different threads.

For example, go for the 67-82mm version, you can fit your 82mm filters on lenses with 67mm, 72mm, 72mm and 82mm threads.

The second Revoring product is variable ND and circular polariser combined. The filter’s factor is quoted from ND 3 (1.5EV) to ND 1000 (10EV) although the amount of light absorbed depends on the lens focal length. Extra features include hard stop at the point of maximum density, guides to help easy control of the ND and the polariser and laser markings to indicate when any cross-fade might appear. H&Y will also offer a lice chart with additional guidance for using the this filters on different lenses and sensors.

Each Revoring is made from architectural grade aluminium so it’s strong and lightweight, and the combined filter is made from Schott B270 optical glass with an anti-reflective coating as well an anti-fingerprint and waterproof nano coating.
